Hi, I’m Michael — the stylist and colorist behind Texas Hair Bear. For me, hairstyling isn’t just about how you look when you leave the chair — it’s about how you feel while you’re in it. I believe great hair happens when creativity, connection, and care all come together, and every appointment is a chance to create something that feels authentically you.

I specialize in color and design that tell a story — bold when you want to make a statement, soft when you’re craving something natural, and always crafted with intention. My chair is a safe space for everyone, and as an out, gay man, I take pride in creating an environment where people can feel comfortable, celebrated, and seen exactly as they are.

I’m proud to be part of the incredible team at Look Salon in downtown San Antonio, where artistry, community, and elevated experiences come together under one roof. Texas Hair Bear is more than a brand name to me; it’s a reflection of my personality — creative, genuine, and proudly Texan at heart.
